I bought my two Cvt 10's used from a guy I knew, I looked them up on youtube and decided they would hit fairly hard. I hooked them up in my single cab dodge truck to a 500 watt PT amp. At first they hit pretty hard, then I bridged them into the amp and Oh my god, they slammed so hard it knocked my rear view mirror of the track, knocked of my fuse box cover, and knocked out my over head light! I got them runnin of of 4 gauge Kicker wire set. All in all I am absolutely amazed by these compact little subs. I would recommend these to every person I meet. They also extend out 2-times farther than 2 15 inch Memphis's combined!
I bought two kicker comp VT 10" for my 2005 gmc crew cab with the probox for the us truck box. Along with a 300.1 kicker amp that i already had, was kinda up in the air about the compact subs but wow they sound great would rec. them to a friend..
At first I thought that these 6.5" shallow sub was not worth all the hype. I switched over from bose to these and I thought "WOW, why did I change my setup." It sounded horrible compared to bose. Ive always been a BIG KICKER fan. I didn't give up though, so I took out the complete bose system, and replaced it with, ALPINE head unit, Kicker cvt 65 on door panels, kicker ks460 4x6 on top dash, connected to a kicker zx650.4 and I said "WOW...Major difference, why didn't I do this sooner" This combination gives me exactly what I wanted in my single cab Chevy S10. I had no room for a 12" L7 so I got these, REALLY IMPRESSED. Thanks Kicker I knew you wouldn't let me down.
omg, i just picked up a pair of these, along with a rockford fosgate 325.1 amplifier, and omg, these things facking pound harder then my old two 12" pheonix gold titanium series subs, hooked up to a alpine mrp-500 500 watt amplifier. i officially am in love with kicker car uadio. good job guys, i will not buy any other subwooer brand anymore. kicker is the new kick.
I have limited space due to needing my trunk to use,put 1 cvt 6.5 under each front seat in sealed enclosure and they hit almost as hard as my old kicker comp 15's.
1 piece of advise DO NOT PUT THESE IN A PORTED ENCLOSURE.They will pop and crackle at 1/4 volume.put in a sealed enclosure and you will be impressed.
I think are good for the price used to have 2 on kac 7204 kenwood amp hit hard cracked my windshield. When I put in 2 p3 shallow mount fosgates they blew out my sliding rear window. I think kickers are more bang for your buck really.
i got 3 10inch cvt's in my 2000 ford lightning on a 600.1 kicker amp and they really shake things up. very nice ad sturdy subs
I have been a loyal kicker guy for more then 16 years now...actually never even owned a sub that was not kicker since I was 16, I was sold from day one, now 32.
with my new project car, mercedes slk 230, I am very limited on space... but decided to take out my premium package bose speakers and give the system a "upgrade"..or so I thought.
The kicker comptVT 6.5" were a direct swap for my bose speakers. now with the install done and running close to 125 watts (if not more) to each kickercvt.... I actually got more bass out of the car with my 30 watt bose system, before I can even get the bass to the point where it is even close to what it was before I pulled the stock ones out the kickers start cracking and poping... I have to say I am very disapointed. So disapointed in fact, for the first time in 16 years I am thinking about taking out the kickers and putting the stock ones or a different brand in... the only thing stopping me right now is money , as I just had back surgery so that kinda put me back for awhile.
I have give this speaker about a 2 outa 5....and will be replacing it in the future. Sorry guys, but you may have lost one here.
great subs
put 2 12'' cvts under the back seat of an 09 chev silverado crew cab with a kicker kx 1200.1 and i am impressed, still not as impressive as the 2 kicker L7 12S I had in my car. but still sound good, think my kx1200.1 shit the bed tho. thinking a zx1000.1 should be enough for 2 cvts. seeing how rms the subs are rated at 400 .

Four options are available that deliver real KICKER bass and take serious power. The 12-inch CVT12 and 10-inch CVT10 easily handle 400 watts RMS (800w peak) without hesitation, and if you want to go even smaller, an 8- or 6.5-inch option hammers from the slimmest locations.

I got them runnin of of 4 gauge Kicker wire set. All in all I am absolutely amazed by these compact little subs. I would recommend these to every person I meet. They also extend out 2-times farther than 2 15 inch Memphis's combined!

KICKER CVT65 2 OHMS
