These headphones are just as good if not better than the Dr. Dre Studio headphones. Overall they are better because they are $200.00 cheaper than the studios. The bass is the legendary Kicker bass and it really is a Kicker 18" SoloX subwoofer in your ear. They also do a very good job of silencing out your surroundings. These headphones hit the highs and mids also. I HIGHLY recommend these to anyone looking for headphones.
This Is By FAR The Best Set Of Headphones I`ve EVER Purchased. . . .
The Bass Is Really Tight. . . The Treble Is Perfect Not To High Nor Is To Low. . .
Although They Are A Bit Bulky But After A Second You Forget About Them And Enjoy The Music!!
Definetly Get A 10/10
these headphones are pretty awesome, just received them in the mail today and so far they are just about perfect. i sat down with my dad and compared them with his $250 Bose over the ear headphones and they were both about the same. only difference was the Bose had a slightly crisper sound. these were somewhat "fuller" if that makes any sense. pretty good bass not too much not too little. with ipod bass booster it gets a bit distorted but in my stereo the bass was amazing and these could definitely handle it no distortion at all. the shorter cable it comes with is kind of flimsy. ive already replaced it with another cable i already own. i would recommend investing in an aftermarket cable which run about $15 for a good one. some larger headphones dont get enough power to get loud from an ipod or other mp3 player. these are just about perfect when you crank it up.. i do plan on investing in a pocket headphone amplifier just so i can get some better bass and volume out of these. they are pretty comfortable and light. they feel a little narrow but i also have a pretty big head. (can barely fit size 8 in fitted new era hats) im pretty picky with my music and the way it sounds.. my home stereo is a completely customized home theater system that puts out about 3000 watts. and so far these are my favorite headphones ive ever owned and prefer them over my skullcandy ear buds and over the ears.. as far as skullcandy goes ive tried them all and the only ones that come close for me are the skullcrushers. so with that comparison to a pair of headphones called skullcrushers that come with a built in inline bass booster preamp its safe to say these are a quality pair of headphones and a fair price too.. would recommend these for anyone looking
Tonal accuracy and legendary KICKER® bass response are typical features provided by KICKER HP541 DJ-Style Headphones, but it’s also KICKER’s only over-the-ear gear that offers outstanding versatility and a unique way of personalization so the user can really call it their own.
HP541s are labeled “DJ-style” because they provide the dynamic full-range audio and life-like vocals expected from a high-performance audio company in the business for 37 years. But, it’s their versatile interchangeable components that make the HP541s KICKER’s most coveted headphones. A four-foot cable is perfect to use with any iPod®, iPhone™, Zune® device, or any portable media player. An additional 11.5-foot cable can be attached for use in a studio or for any recording session. Separate plugs are available as well – a corrosion-resistant, nickel-plated 1/8-inch style that fits iPhone and other minijacks is the default, and included is a removable, gold-plated 1/4-inch stereo adapter for larger, high-fidelity jacks.
The over-ear, full-swivel ear cups are very lightweight and extremely comfortable during extended use. Vinyl skins that cover the outside of the ear cups are also available through www.kicker.com, giving the listener a number of design cues and complete individuality.
HP541 Headphones also interact with all KICKER Docking Systems, which are compatible with iPhone, iPod or Zune devices.
