i got a s15l7 hooked up with a performance teknique amp (3000w,1ohm...stable),epicenter(bass genarator,boss),3farad capacitor.and in a seald homade box with round port.itz a moving peice of art i tell you.it litterly shakes the ground.once i get my spl comp ported box.my skin gonna rattle on my bone!!!
So I had 2 Kicker 06 12 L7's running off of 2 Kicker zx750.1 with a Rockford T600-2 with 2 6.5 o2 Mids and 2 5 1/4 o2 Mids... and boy was that shaking everything... sounded great but I had 2 JL Audio 13.5w7's in my old ride... so I needed more... had 2 08 15 L7's I got for lending someone my car so he didn't loser his job.... had them sitting in my closet for about 6 months. Didn't want the b.s. boxes they pre-make they are cheap I broke the box for my 12's why would I pay 150 for a box I broke with 12's... So I had a box made... cost normally 700 to make but I paid 325 for a guy it... 1" Lightweight MDF wood for my 15" L7's... My subs were Dual 2 ohm... so I went to order the Zx 1000.1 online but I was looking at the specs and for some reason they would never work at max power for these subs so I called KIcker and they told me that these subs were designed to work with amps from other companies... so I had no choice but to buy other amps so I bought the Rockford Fosgate 1000.1bd CP. Never had a problem with Rockford but being that when I bought the zx 750.1 for my old setup I was so satisfied with them couldn't believe that they worked so well.. But anyhow. So I finally get to install my new setup... 2 15 L7's in a custom ported 7-8 cubic feet box... 2 Rockford t1000.1bd CP, 1 Rockford t600-4 running 2 8" Beyma Competition, 2 6" Beyma Competition and 2 5 1/4 o2 (Oxygen Audio) and 1 Rockford t600-2 running 2 10" E.V.'s... this was not only bassing like crazy but you could here is from far... You can't even breath or swallow when the bass hits... def worth every penny of the thousands of dollars I met...
I use to have 2 12in ASI subs but they sounded like crap and since i was just starting to build my system i didn't know what i had. So after about 2 days i of having that system the subs blew out so i just got 1 10in. L7 it's not much but i sure hits loud as hell alot louder then those 2 12's i had. i have it hooked up to a Fosgate r500-1.

KICKER engineers left it all on the table for this redesigned Solo-Baric L7, taking cues from the award-winning original that debuted as groundbreaking at the turn of the millennium, and then improving on them. Let there be no doubt, it’s the most complete KICKER subwoofer ever developed.
Available in 8-, 10-, 12-, and 15-inch models, the Solo-Baric L7 still revolves around the breakthrough SoloKon™, the one-piece, injection-molded cone with full-coverage back bracing that pushes more air and creates louder bass than any like-size round subwoofer. It’s good enough that KICKER uses SoloKon across the board as the cornerstone for each subwoofer in the KICKER bass-making family.
SoloKon may be a rock star, but it’s the unshakeable motor structure behind the scenes that propels it to the forefront. Minor tweaks have given the motor an outstanding rep – dual high-temp voice coils, poly-cotton semi-progressive spider, Spiralead™ tinsel-lead technology, highly-efficient UniPlate™ pole-piece/back plate, and a heat-reducing T-cut top plate for enormous power handling. And it’s never been cooler with a new solid pole piece that disperses more heat than ever before, and more venting near the SoloKon back brace and spider landing.
The distinctive cast-aluminum basket with spring-loaded terminals wraps around and protects these specialized inner workings, with the Solo-Baric crest branded into the back plate.
The Solo-Baric L7 remains available in 2-Ohm or 4-Ohm DVC and conducts business from a sealed or vented box application.
